Perfume Making FAQ & Policies

Workshops are suitable for ages 10+. While we'd love to host younger kids, the supplies required for perfume making aren't suitable for a younger crowd. All participants 10-18 years old must be accompanied by an adult at all times - no unaccompanied minors may be left in the store. Children under 10 years old are not allowed in the workshop space.

Depending on the number of participants, perfume experiences typically last 1 hour.

All experience and private party purchases are final sale. 

If you wish to cancel, please find the reschedule link at the bottom of your "Booking Confirmation Email" and use it to either cancel your reservation or reschedule your class for another day and time. For cancellations made at least 48 hours in advance, a credit towards a future perfume experience will be notated on your account. Due to the popularity of our experiences and private parties, we cannot cancel reservations with less than 48 hours notice.  

If you booked your experience using a third party voucher and are cancelling at least 48 hours in advance of your scheduled workshop date, your voucher will be reinstated and available for use toward a future class. If you are cancelling with less than 48 hours notice, your voucher will be reinstated for its promotional value only. In order to use the voucher you will be required to pay the difference between the full price of the offer option you purchased and the promotional value of your voucher. Please note: Due to our 48-hour cancellation policy, the reschedule/cancellation link will not work less than 48 hours prior to the start of your scheduled experience.

As a courtesy to all our guests, we start our classes promptly. Out of respect to our staff and other class participants, we ask that you arrive on time. No late seatings. If you arrive late to your appointment our instructors may require that you join the next class space permitting.

Our store is fragrant and if you're allergic to fragrance or get headaches around fragrances, this experience might not be the best fit for you.

Pets are not allowed in the studio.

None of our locations have public restrooms in store. If you need to use the bathroom while visiting our Manhattan Beach or Brea stores, the mall has multiple public bathrooms that you may use.

Due to the popularity of our experiences, we highly recommend that you make a reservation to secure your spot for your desired date and time. Our experiences frequently sell out. Walk-in guests will be accommodated on a first come, first served basis and only if there are open spots available.

Due to the limited size of our workshop space, we do not allow anyone to watch or participate in the class without a ticket (the only exception to this rule is for an adult accompanying a minor). 



While we do provide aprons for participants, we recommend that you leave Chanel and Gucci at home—the fragrance oils that we use can be hard on fabrics!

We only allow food and non-alcoholic drinks in our private parties.

Our workshop set up is different at each location. If you have any special requests or needs, please indicate so in the special requests/notes section upon checkout and we will do our best to accommodate.
